The Zdjelarević winery is one of the first privately owned wineries in Croatia. It was founded back in 1985 when it was still prescribed by the law that all wineries can only be state-owned. The Zdjelarević winery thus encouraged a new initiative for development and breathed a new life into the tradition of cultivating grapevine.
